Travers, co-founder of the Saratoga Race Course where he served as its first President. The famed Travers Stakes, the mid-summer Derby, is named after the house’s original owner. The modern day titans of racing, the Phipps family, WinStar’s Kenny Trout, St. Elias stables’ owner, Peter Brant. and Courtlandt Farms’ Don Adams spend the entire race meet in their histoic mansions, known as ‘cottages’ on North Broadway. The TRAVERS MANSION is a 6 minute drive to the track. Head up North Broadway to East Avenue, make a right hand turn onto East and you’ll find yourself at the main gate of the track.

The house features spacious front porch and back deck, which are flanked on the south side by a pond, waterfall, and a spring-fed well. The large deck, the width of the back of the house off of the kitchen, is great for grilling and outdoor entertainment.
